ArtyShield LLC ("ArtyShield," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you use ArtyShield services.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through ArtyShield products, services, websites, and related channels, including:
- ArtyShield websites and landing pages;
- user dashboards, accounts, and administrative features;
- products and services such as MusicShield, VoiceShield, VeriTune, and VeriVoice;
- APIs, webhooks, integrations, billing workflows, referral/reward programs, and related service features; and
- support, contact, feedback, research, and communication channels.
By using our services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
A. Information You Provide to Us
- Account information, such as your name, email address, username, organization name, and profile details.
- Billing and transaction information, such as subscription plan details, billing address, transaction history, and related payment information. Payment card information may be processed directly by third-party payment providers rather than by ArtyShield.
- Communications and support information, such as emails, support tickets, bug reports, survey responses, feedback submissions, and attachments you send to us.
- Uploaded content and related metadata, such as audio files, voice samples, music tracks, media files, prompts, labels, configuration settings, file metadata, and outputs associated with detection, protection, verification, analysis, or related workflows.
- Referral, reward, and community information, if you participate in those programs.
Some uploaded audio, voice, or media content may be considered sensitive personal information under certain laws. We process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested services, unless we separately obtain your permission for another use.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
- Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, and approximate location inferred from IP address.
- Network and log information, such as IP address, timestamps, request logs, API usage logs, error logs, authentication events, and system activity.
- Usage information, such as pages viewed, features used, interaction history, upload/download activity, model or API calls, and session activity.
- Cookie and similar technology information, used for authentication, session continuity, preferences, analytics, security, and service performance.
For VeriTune Lite browser-based scans, we may collect usage metadata such as model version, anonymous browser identifier or user account identifier, signed-in status, file size, estimated audio duration, inference time, AI/human probability scores, browser or device information, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP address. The selected MP3 file for VeriTune Lite is processed locally in your browser and is not intentionally uploaded to ArtyShield servers as part of the VeriTune Lite scan.
3. How We Use Information
We may use personal information for the following purposes:
- to provide, operate, maintain, and improve ArtyShield services;
- to create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
- to process uploads, detections, protections, verifications, analyses, downloads, API requests, and related workflows;
- to support billing, subscriptions, payment processing, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and account administration;
- to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, maintain service reliability, and improve product quality and safety;
- to respond to customer support requests, feedback, and communications;
- to send administrative, transactional, technical, and service-related notices;
- to investigate misuse, enforce our Terms or other policies, and protect our rights, users, platform, and infrastructure; and
- to comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we process personal information based on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the services, compliance with legal obligations, protection of users and the platform, and your consent where consent is required.
Some service results are generated using automated processing, including AI or machine learning models. Unless we separately state otherwise, we do not use automated processing to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Uploaded Media, Files, and Generated Data
ArtyShield processes media, audio, voice, music, files, prompts, metadata, and related content you submit in order to provide requested service features.
For VeriTune Lite, audio selected through the browser-based tool is analyzed locally in your browser. ArtyShield may receive usage metadata about the scan, but the MP3 file itself is not intentionally uploaded to ArtyShield servers for the local VeriTune Lite scan.
Depending on the product or workflow, our systems may also generate related outputs, such as detection results, protection artifacts, verification records, audit logs, usage records, and analysis outputs.
Retention periods for uploaded content and generated data may vary depending on:
- the product workflow or account configuration;
- operational needs and service functionality;
- security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-monitoring needs;
- billing, recordkeeping, and audit needs; and
- legal and compliance obligations.
Some temporary files, intermediate processing artifacts, or cached operational data may be deleted automatically after short operational periods. Other records, such as usage logs, transaction records, support history, and security or audit records, may be retained for longer periods where reasonably necessary for service integrity, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or compliance.
We do not use customer-uploaded media files to train generative models unless we separately obtain your permission.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers and vendors that support our business and services, such as providers of hosting, cloud infrastructure, storage, authentication, analytics, payment processing, communications, monitoring, and security services;
- Affiliates and corporate transaction parties, such as in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction; and
- Legal, regulatory, and safety-related disclosures, such as when required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other lawful process, or when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of our services.
